My first trip out of England wasn't until I was thirty. In the twenty two years since then I have visited fifty six different countries and taken thousands of photographs. This blog is intended to present some of those photographs. If you enjoy them please check out my other two blogs (links below) which also contain photographs as well as much longer articles. PLEASE NOTE: COMMENTS ARE NOW DISABLED BECAUSE I WILL BE UNABLE TO ADMINISTER THEM FROM MY NEW HOME IN CHINA
Is this place really used as a school?
ReplyDeleteHow great would that be, only thinking about being a student there makes me start on calculations of my 'time-machine'.
Please have a nice weekend.
Actually Harrow School (http://www.harrowschool.org.uk/) is a very large public school (which in the UK means that it is a private fee-paying school) which occupies most of the town of Harrow-on-the-Hill. The building in this photograph belongs to the school but is actually (I believe) the school chapel. There are buildings all over the hill which belong to the school. More of them will be coming up in the next twenty days or so. Some are school buildings (i.e. where lessons take place) others are administrative buildings, some are no longer used.
